Full-Stack Developer (Java/Spring Boot + DevOps) - Dallas, TX

Location : Dallas, TX - 2-3 days a week

Project Duration : 3+ Months of contract to hire

Job Description:

Seasoned Full-Stack Developer with strong backend experience in Java/Spring Boot, front-end development using Angular/React, and proven knowledge of DevOps practices including Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-performance applications, while also contributing to infrastructure automation, scalability, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and JavaScript/Type Script.

Build robust RESTful services and support micro services-based distributed architecture.

Develop reusable backend components and automation scripts using Groovy and Python.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline.

Build and deploy containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS) using Docker and Helm.

Collaborate on managing Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.

Design and implement event-driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.

Integrate monitoring and alerting solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Watch.

Participate in release planning, production deployment, rollback planning, and incident troubleshooting.

Work closely with business and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with functional goals and operational readiness.

Required Skills:

Strong development experience with Java (8+), Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.

Front-end development using Angular (or react), JavaScript, and Type Script.

Scripting proficiency with Groovy and Python for automation and DevOps tooling.

Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).

Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and automated deployment strategies.

Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization using Docker.

Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.

Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms in micro services ecosystems.

Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Cassandra, Dynamo DB).
